Weeeeeeeeeeeee are the Fizzgigs, as a collection of songs, is a testament to the value of expressing yourself and having fun –not in spite of everything being fucked-up around you, but especially because everything around you is fucked. Not to turn a blind eye, but to remind ourselves of why it’s worth another spin. It paints this picture between themes of glossy nostalgia, bitter resentment, human sacrifice, human comedy, and the end of the world. And does so in an upbeat fashion prone to inspiring movement.

You may be a pogoer, a mosher, a headbanger, a foot stomper, a toe tapper, or a steering wheel drummer... whatever your go-to is, these songs are meant to get you going and maybe even allow you to lose yourself to a joyful moment here and there. It wasn’t intended to be a concept album, but from the artwork (a cartoon character joyfully, if not ignorantly, indulging in a ride down a janky old slide despite being too big, the slide being broken, and the disapproval of waiting onlookers) to the release on international happiness day, Weeeeeeeeeeeee are the Fizzgigs is about choosing fun... even if that is only for 2.5 minutes at a time.
