Quit It!

Quit It! are from Mohkinstsis (Calgary) on Treaty 7 Territory in so-called Canada. Maximum Rocknroll calls them “socio-political anthemic punk.” All members of the band sing and write, lending their voices to a chorus of critical thought, accountability, and hope. Quit It! is community-powered, providing heart-pumping anthems by committee.

Born in the midst of the pandemic, Quit It! rose from the ashes of Canadian touring mainstays River Jacks. The band began with the release of their debut EP (December 2020). Quit It! features a veteran cast, with members of Mandible Klaw (AB), Pill Crusher (AB), Greg Rekus Band (MB), Creeden’s Flying Hellfish (ON), The Wild (NB), and Rum Runner (AB). The band began touring around Western Canada immediately after health restrictions lifted in 2021. It was not long before Quit It! began headlining shows in Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Vancouver, Victoria and many communities in between.
